What Is A Back Order?
A backorder is any item (CD, DVD or Magazine) that is not physically in our stock, but that can most likely be obtained from the manufacturer. If an item is still readily available in Japan it will usually reach us within 2 to 3 weeks. If an item is almost out of print it may take up to 5 weeks to arrive.
If you order an item that is no longer in print as part of an order of 4 or more CDs then you will still receive free shipping even if less than 4 CDs are actually available.
Once we find out that an item is no longer in print it will be marked as DISCONTINUED and will no longer appear in the product lists.
Why does it take so long for backordered item to arrive?
Our distribution network allows us to obtain items from different suppliers in Japan, making it possible to obtain an extensive array of items. All backordered items are shipped from Japan to our headquaters based in Canada. We then ship items to our customers from either Blaine, WA (USA), or from our main distribution center based in Surrey, BC. As we deal with multiple vendors, we consolidate our shipments in order to provide lower prices to our valued customers.
It can take up to 1 to 2 weeks for items to ship from the publisher to our supplier in Japan, and then another week for those items to make their way to our company. Most backordered items are shipped from Japan by courier. We provide updates on backordered items every 2 to 3 weeks so that you may stay informed on the status of your order. Once received, we prepare your order for immediate shipping.
When will I receive my CDs and DVDs?
If you order only items that are in stock they will usually be shipped the next business day. Airmail shipping within the United States generally takes 3 to 7 business days or if you choose Priority Airmail (expedited mail), 2 to 5 business days. These times are not guaranteed, however.
If you order both items that are in stock and items that are backorders then the order will usually not be shipped until all the products are available. This could take 2-3 weeks depending on when you order (see the "What is a Backorder" section above).
Once my order has shipped, how long till I receive it?
We normally ship packages twice weekly. In-stock items are processed for the next available shipping date. We ship via United States Postal Service. Estimated times of arrival depend on shipping method used.
Estimated times of arrival after order is shipped:
Airmail - 3 to 7 business days
Priority Mail - 2 to 5 business days
Global Airmail - 4 to 10 business days
Global Priority Mail - 4 to 6 business days
Some items may take longer to arrive due to customs delays.
How can I track my order
Tracking is possible ONLY when your order has shipped from our warehouse. At that time, we will email you and provide you with a tracking number that can be used to trace the whereabouts of your package. You can track your order on USPS website normally within 24 to 48 hours after receiving an email notification from us. We offer FREE tracking on All orders processed within the United States. We do not offer tracking for orders shipped overseas, as USPS does not allow for this service, except through EMS.
When will I receive my Magazines?
If you order only items that are in stock they will usually be shipped the next business day. Airmail shipping generally takes 3 to 7 business days or if you choose expedited shipping, 2 to 5 business days. These times are not guaranteed, however.
If a magazine is out of stock but is still available it could take up to 6 weeks to arrive from Japan. However, once a magazine is sold out at our wholesaler it can no longer be obtained. We highly recommend preorders to ensure that you receive your magazine.
